How to Listen to TTN

Amazon Alexa enabled smart speaker
An iPad showing the Talking Newspaper player app
A USB Audio Player

The Tynedale talking Newspaper is sent to listeners on a USB memory stick commonly used with computers, laptops and some audio devices.

If you don’t have a computer or would prefer a standalone audio player TTN can lend you a player that’s specially designed for use by people with impaired vision.

You can request a player when you apply to receive TTN using the buttons on the homepage.

We are currently working on making TTN’s recordings available through a smart speaker (Amazon Alexa devices), smartphone or tablet.  Whichever method you choose our Listener Support Team will help you register with us and get set up.

If you need instructions for using one of our USB stick audio players click on the name of your player.

If you would like to use a smart speaker, smartphone or tablet contact us for guidance.
